Partnering with Getty Images, FanFeedr is now offering an Image API for customers seeking an affordable content provision solution.
Getty provides a robust number of photos for nearly every entity in sports. From a league to an athlete, the Image API solution provides photos to supplement your website or application in a meaningful way. We offer three different content packages to provide customers with a good price-to-scale option, but do not provide free content in contrast to our regular API.

Why should I use the Image API for photos rather than your main API?
The Image API allows users to directly host images from Getty. Our main API provides links back to FanFeedr.com that display images on our website.
How do I access photos through the Image API?
This API provides images with captions, listed in various sizes for redistribution. The data is provided in a links to JPEG format hosted on Amazon S3. Users can download images and host them.

What types of images are returned?
Image API users can request images for a league, team, or player. Each call request may be for a different entity, therefore allowing users to receive a selection of photos across different sports.
Which leagues and sports are covered?
Our Image API provides access to images for the following leagues and sports:
- NFL, MLB*, NBA**, NHL
- NCAA Basketball***
- NCAA Football*
- MLS*
- European Soccer*
- NASCAR
- Tennis
- Golf
International events such as the World Cup and Olympics are also covered. The Masters is not including in golf coverage.

What photo sizes are available?
Photos are available in the following formats:
- Thumbnail - 40x30 pixels
- Listing - 160x120 pixels
- Midsize - 768x124 pixels
- Original - vary in size
Are there restrictions on usage?
- Images cannot be reconfigured from original form or repurposed in any manner.
- Customers may not use images for purposes of creating a photo gallery.
- Images must be utilized in a product or service that primarily displays on a large screen device.
- Proper source attribution must be displayed for each image utilized.
Are there restrictions on how long photos can be used?
Users can host and display photos provided by the Image API for the subscription plan period. Upon expiration or termination of the Image API plan, licenses to reproduce, archive, or otherwise use images shall immediately cease.
